As I get older I realize that statement is more and more true. I am not an advertising agency. I am not a Rembrandt. I am not an award-winning designer. I am simply a creative artist and writer, specializing in cartooning and illustration.

In my 30-plus years in the graphics communications industry, I have worked on almost every type of creative project imaginable. Often I've found myself feeling like a "jack of all trades and master of none."

And it's probably clear by looking at my portfolio that I am a somewhat masterful cartoonist and illustrator. Copywriting, especially humor writing, is another area I enjoy working in. I love to help companies and organizations, large and small, as well as entrepreneurs, writers, publishers, art directors and editors, to achieve their creative project goals.

So when a customer is looking for creative services other than cartooning and writing, I try to help them out as well. Sometimes if the job is right, I will do the entire project myself. More often, I will bring in a graphic designer, specialty copywriter, printer, video company or web designer, and under my management, we will do the project as a team.
